Again, I apologise for the quality in some of these videos, it was taken with my old camera phone that had crap resolution. My new one is much better!
Here is one of another I downloaded from thingyverse. A cats collar address holder, just in case she can't find her way home. I could probably do with one of those....
Here is the finished print, probably the worst video yet, but you get the idea.
Struggling to print anything at the minute, the last blockage stitched me up. Not only that the constant heating and cooling of the hot end has made the thermistor stick in the heating block and yesterday I snapped the end of an alan key off in it. It shows no signs of coming out, so I think I will have to purchase a new one from Ebay. Might purchase a couple just in case. Should still have a few videos knocking about of some prints. I will dig them out and upload them as soon as I track them down.
Here I print spare part for the printer itself. There is a small split on the existing print head surround from over tightening one of the nuts and screws (my bad). So I figure if it completely breaks, I'll have a spare. Slightly different to the one that came with the printer, but it will work, but may require recalibration and the setting of a new Z height.
Okay maybe I got the titles of these mixed up. But the two previous work together to hold the hot end in place and move it about the bed.
Sorry about the video quality in this, but it is very difficult to hold the camera whilst trying to move moving parts with my hands. Hoping to print some kind of hands free holder so I can do my vids and play with my creations live on cam in future.
Also need to work on my camera voice, I sound a little croaky in these.
Excellent thread and videos, thank you for sharing!
