In a way, my knees feel weaker then before it, and exercise doesn't help them get stronger feeling.. I wonder if my hip issues can be blamed on it too??

Shaolin horse stance. Sorts my knees out. Matter of fact there is lots of weird looking Chinese kung fu/chi gung exercises that are designed to strengthen weakened bodies, immune systems or internal organs.

Do you do yoga or pilates Master-gauge ? They might help with your joint issues. I have only started back yoga again this week, I did it a little years ago, and am finding it has already helped with some aches and pains.

I wonder should I have included a "yoga dude" in the article now :D I just imagine this soapdodger with a Hare Krishna hair cut haha :D
